Position Summary | ***THE BEST CONSIDERATION DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 5/7/2024*** UNM Food is seeking a motivated customer service expert to serve as Special Events Coordinator to support event duties and sales for the University Club, Championship Golf Course, and conference lodging. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the event sales growth for multiple areas and providing onsite event support for special events. The Special Events Coordinator will also assist with the daily operations of the University Club. a membership-based operation that serves lunch Monday - Friday, happy hour on Friday afternoon, and evening and weekend special events. As a Special Events Coordinator, you will work closely with the Sales and Event Manager to drive event and conference sales, plan events, and provide onsite support. This is a full-time position that requires evening and weekend hours. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
