Cook - Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center

Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center is a retirement community committed to providing our residents and staff with the upmost dignity and respect. We have served the community for 55 years, and we pride ourselves on the care that we have provided.

We are seeking a full-time Cook to join our dynamic kitchen crew! The ideal candidate should have experience working in industrial kitchens preparing and serving meals for large groups of people.

Our kitchen crew prepares three nutritious meals a day for our residents and employees. Our Cooks plays an integral role in our mission to provide healthy meals for our residents and employees.

Schedule and wage:

• $16.50 - $19.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• 5:30AM - 2:00PM
• Scheduled days will vary

General Job Duties (incomplete):

• Responsible for preparing and serving food to residents and guests.
• Assists with dishwashing and general housekeeping in dining and kitchen areas.

Requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have completed food service sanitation course.
• Minimum one-year experience in nursing home, institution or restaurant
