Cook-PT - King David Post Acute Nursing & Rehabilitation

We are currently looking for a  Part time Cook in our Independent Living Building, Myers Apartments on the King David Campus.

As a Cook, you will be reponsible for preparing food according to menus, recipes and planned events for residents and their guests. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, and safe manner. Responsibilities: • Perform all aspects of food preparation and serving for residents as required. • Maintain established meal times by having all items prepared on time. •  Label, date, cover, and store all food items properly. • Control food and material waste. • Have a good knowledge of and ensure compliance with all sanitary and food preparation procedures. Create a clean, comfortable, and safe environment and ensure that the highest quality of nutritional care is delivered to the customer we serve.
