About the Job
- Greets guests upon their arrival to the Sushi Bar.
- Takes, prepares, and serves orders in a fast, friendly and efficient manner.
- Prepares foods in accordance with menu portion and quality specifications.
- Properly trained in handling raw meats and fish/seafood
- Properly trained in the preparation and rolling of a variety of sushi and sashimi, including rice preparation, vegetable cuts, and fish/meat butchering.
- Ensures menu quality and consistency of food items.
- Ensures sushi station, kitchen equipment and all cooking areas are maintained in safe and sanitary condition.
- Promotes positive public relations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of appropriate experience.
- Prior experience handling/preparing sushi, required.
- Able to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
