Shift Available: Full-Time Evenings
Starting Salary: $15+/hour

Rose City Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to established menus and portion control procedures.
• Plan food production to align with scheduled meal times.
• Memorize menu items, portion sizes, plate presentation, and abbreviations.
• Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders.
• Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting preferred.
• Culinary school education is a plus but not required.
