Knowledgeable of sushi style techniques and cooking methods
Minimum of 3-year’s experience as a sushi cook in a high-volume culinary operation preferred.
Must be capable of following directions and possess good recall and memory
Knowledge of standard knife skills, kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines
Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in stressful, fast paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Able to work standing majority of shift.
