What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for assisting in preparing and serving food in the cafeteria and accomplishing clean-up in accordance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
1. Replenishing napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers and condiments.
2. Make coffee, tea and other beverages and set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line.
3. Set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line.
4. Assist in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients from storage area to cooking area.
5. Clean food service area, tables and kitchen equipment and appliances.
6. Assist in washing dishes/utensils; store in orderly fashion
Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Six (6) months of food service experience or completion of culinary training program, preferred.
+ Must possess a current ServSafe (Food Handler) certification within 90 days of employment.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
