Cook Responsibilities:
- Cut, Chop, Slice, Dice, Fry, Grill - you can do it all.
- Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking, labeling, and replacing key ingredients.
- Prep as needed with full knowledge or working in a kitchen.
- Follow all relevant food health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a workstation that is both clean and sanitary.
- Communicate with the manager about any kitchen supplies and upgrades that are needed.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, broilers, sauté burners, ovens, flat-top griddles, and refrigeration equipment both during and after service.
Cook Skills:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous restaurant experience, preferably as a cook.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong communication skills.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of and willingness to embrace important food health and safety guidelines.
- Willingness to continue learning and improving your craft.
- Must have Food Handlers Certification.
