Solstice Senior Living in Guilford is on the hunt for a few experienced Line Cooks to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes for our residents. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals.

Job Duties

Prepare and serve all food items and meals in accordance with planned menus and

recipes

Ensure that all meals and food are palatable and appetizing.

Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties, events, etc.

Prepare food and serve in accordance with sanitary regulations and policies and procedures

Assist in serving meals as necessary

Ensure that food storage areas are clean and properly arranged at all times

Properly label, date and store all leftovers

Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies

Open or close kitchen as dictated by department scheduling.

Ensure all staff arrive and/or depart at scheduled times as posted.
