The cook is also responsible for menu planning, food shopping, and cooking for up to 10 adults in a short-term, psychiatric, residential setting.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pmLocation: Exton, PAProgram: Valley Creek Crisis Center, Residential Crisis Intervention ProgramPay Rate: $18 /hour Job Functions:

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to price food and supplies
- Applying and maintaining high standards in cleanliness for kitchen and food prep equipment
- Applying and maintaining high standards for meal production
- Ability to plan and prepare meals on a quantity basis
- Knowledge of the proper care and use of modern kitchen utensils and equipment
- Knowledge and utilization of a wide variety of cooking ingredients
- Other duties as assigned
