Currently hiring for FULL TIME. Hours and days will vary. The earliest you would start work is 5:30 AM and the latest you would stay is 7:00 PM---no late nights! We do offer some flexibility in scheduling as well.
Weekdays and some weekends.
Starting pay $15 per hour, depending on experience.
**$500 Sign-on bonus for Full-time employees hired to this position. **
COOK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- -Prepare meals following approved menus/processes, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits; cleaning, cutting, and grinding meats, poultry, and seafood; dipping food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them; stirring and straining soups and sauces; and weighing and measuring designated ingredients.
- -Store foods appropriately in designated areas and maintains orderliness and cleanliness of all storage areas including coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas.
- -Appropriately label and date deliveries and food prepped for service, so they are used in the first in/first out method.
- -Fill out and maintain temperature log sheets.
- -Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils; remove garbage; and steam cleans or hoses garbage containers.
- -Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- -Works cooperatively with other staff members using a team approach.
- -Ensure safety and security of kitchen and equipment, which includes ensuring equipment is turned off, trash is removed from kitchen, walk-ins are locked, all entrances and exits are locked and secure at close of daily service, etc.
- -Performs other duties as assigned
COOK QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of experience in a food service setting
