Job Description:

Our goal is to serve nutritious, wholesome meals and snacks cooked onsite. We are looking for a part-time cook/food prep who loves to cook healthy, delicious meals that will appeal to the palate of toddlers/children in our care.

ServSage certification is required. This is a part-time position 6:15AM 1:15PM.

Job responsibilities:

• Plans and prepares snacks and meals in accordance with posted menus
• Determines meal and snack count and distributes food to each classroom.
• Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly.
• Performs weekly food and supply inventory; submits list of needed items
• Orders food and supply items from approved supplier, within budget set by Management.
• Checks-in supply deliveries to ensure accuracy of order placed.
• Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets and all inventory, organized and clean.

An ideal candidate will have:

• Have a love for children & cooking
• Experience in cooking for a school/pre-school will be a plus but not required, paid training will be provided
• Strong customer service mindset and work ethic
• Driver's License
• High school or equivalent

*Salary dependent on experience and level of education.
