Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook meals according to our standard recipes, ensuring a high level of taste and presentation.
2. Use a variety of cooking techniques such as chopping, seasoning, grilling, and baking.
3. Season and prepare different kinds of meat according to our menu.
4. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
5. Create and plan menus, considering dietary requirements and seasonal ingredients.
6. Order and manage kitchen supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
7. Collaborate with the team to cater for special events, meetings, and functions.
8. Continually improve our culinary offerings based on feedback and emerging food trends.
9. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of professional cooking experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
2. Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
3. Proven skills in chopping, seasoning meats, menu creation, ordering, and managing supplies.
4. Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain calm under pressure.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
7. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
9. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to prepare a wide range of meals catering to different needs.
10. A genuine passion for food and cooking, with a desire to continually learn and grow.
