Cook - Highland Chateau Health + Rehabilitation Center

Highland Chateau Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Part-Time AM Cook to join the team!

Hours: 

• 4 shifts- every 2 weeks. 
• Every Friday
• Every other weekend 

Wage: $15.89-$21.64. Wage based on experience level 

The ideal candidate for this position has previous cooking experience, enjoys working in a busy environment, and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. Responsibilities for Cook:

• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

Skills for Cook:

• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Serve Safe Certification preferred
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
