AMETEK Hughes-Treitler (HT) is the industry leader in high-performance, plate-fin, Aluminum/Inconel heat exchangers for Military and Commercial Engine, Rotary, Airframe, and similar applications. HT specializes in custom build-to-specification applications where thermal performance, weight, structural and reliability are key considerations. HT provides Engine Surface Coolers, Fuel-Cooled Oil Coolers, Air-Cooled Oil Coolers, high temperature Buffer/Pre-Coolers, and bundled Heat Exchanger/Fan/Blower/Duct systems for the most challenging applications/requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY
Set up and operate conventional machinery for the manufacture of aerospace products

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and run conventional milling machine
• Machine detail parts and final assemblies from engineering drawings and work instructions using custom fixtures.
• Work to close tolerances ( +/- 0.001” )

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
N/A

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma
• Minimum 5 years as a conventional machinist

Language Skills
Must be conversant in, read, write and understand English

Other Skills and Abilities
• First piece inspection
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions for setups
• Due to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or Green card holder.
