Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with control systems, including VFDs, PLCs, RSLogix, Servo Drive, and motor controls.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on the design and implementation of new control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of control systems and perform necessary upgrades or repairs.
- Document all work performed, including troubleshooting steps, repairs made, and parts used.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and contribute to the development of new safety standards when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controls Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in VFDs, PLCs, RSLogix, Servo Drive, and motor controls.
- Strong knowledge of control system design and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and software for control systems.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field is preferred.
