Looking for an Electrical Controls Technician to troubleshoot, modify, and program PLCs and HMI's. Selected candidates will be given the opportunity to learn more about PLC programming from seasoned Controls Engineers. Ideally seeking an ambitious hands-on type of person who desires a long-term career as a Controls Engineer. Previous experience as a Controls Engineer, Maintenance Controls Tech, Controls Electrician, Field Service Tech, or Panel Builder are desired. Also have similar openings in Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, and Kalamazoo.

Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
- Layout, design, build, wire, install, program and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and another electrical components.
- Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
- Troubleshoot and modify Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
- Integrate, troubleshoot, and modify robotic automation systems.
Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
- Experience troubleshooting and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
- Experience wiring machines.
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
- Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
- Experience programming robotics is a plus.
- Able to travel 20 - 25% of the time.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Pay range: $30 - $34/hour
