This is a 1st shift position (Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm)
Responsibilities- Troubleshooting including but not limited to machine vision systems, ultrasonic welding equipment, automation equipment, hot plate weld assembly, pressure decay testing, high voltage dielectric testing and hydraulic/electric molding machines.
- Take ownership of the automation aspects of our processes.
- Work closely with plastic process engineers to identify problems, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding machine.
- Increase production speed at the current quality requirements and uptime.
- Program changes as required by continuing improvement and new product systems implementation.
- Validate equipment calibration procedures.
- Update and Develop equipment calibration procedures.
- Update and create electrical drawings as required.
- Follow all Environmental, Health & safety as they apply to facilities & work area.
- Understand and follow the required safety guidelines such as lockout/tag out use of PPE.
- Self –motivated with ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Strong oral, written, computer and communication skills.
- High degree of electrical knowledge and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Solve issues pertaining to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic & mechanical operations.
- Exhibit ability to commission and troubleshoot equipment using applicable software.
- Prove understanding of robotic control systems.
- Able to make major source code changes as required for continuous improvement projects.
- Demonstrate ability to read, interpret, and create electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as they relate to existing equipment.
- Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and related equipment.

- Excellent communication and documentation
- MS office applications
- MS Windows environments
- Autodesk Electrical – Understanding of RS logix.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, Technical School preferred
