REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Controls Engineer with LabVIEW
Basic Qualifications
- At least 4-5 years of LabVIEW programming experience.
- LabVIEW certification (CLD or CLA).
- Experience with Robotics and Vision Inspection Systems.
- Experience with NI Real-Time programming for embedded targets (cRIO, PXIe).
- Knowledge of Actor Framework.
- Programmatic interaction with databases such as Microsoft SQL.
- Ability to interact with mechanical designers and provide suggestions.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview:
Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission, and qualify software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- The primary focus will be the automation of Test Systems and R&D systems.
- Interact with customers to define system functionality.
- Develop/modify LabVIEW applications.
- Commission system at customers' sites
Qualifications:
Other Skills:
- PLC and HMI programming capability (Rockwell, Siemens, Ignition, etc.).
- Developing these programs from scratch OR a pre-existing system
Nice to Haves:
- Vision system experience (Cognex, Keyence, etc.)
- Robotics (Fanuc, Epson, Omron, ABB, etc.)
