My client is a leading systems integrator and is looking to add a Controls Engineer to their growing team. This is a 12 Month Contract-To-Hire opportunity.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
o Review specifications and standard practices
o Follow internal and customer standards as required
Establishing non-standard logic and designs as required.
o Create system map layouts, sequence of operations, drawing packages, write PLC logic, and develop HMI screens
o Write and edit PLC programs including: I/O mapping, network diagnostics, conveyor control, routing and tracking, HMI FIS and IIOT fault messages and more
o Able to self-check PLC programs, such as verify all I/O is used, step by step conveyor sequence is correct
o Specify panel and field material by creating Electrical Bill of Material’s (EBM’s)
o Work with Management and Project Management to develop and maintain schedule
o Attend meetings with some interaction with customers
o Assisting in installation oversight
o Start-up and Debug at customers facilities
o Experience with VFD/Motor tuning, torque proving and point to point operation is a plus
o Launch support and Standby support (post commissioning)
o Work with project Management
