Overview:
As a Data Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for a range of electrical, control and PLC tasks relating to the deployment of bespoke factory manufacturing system within our clients American businesses unit. You should have experience with factory level network communications and be ready push the boundaries of automation and data-driven insights.

As a Data Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for a range of electrical, control and PLC tasks relating to the deployment of bespoke factory manufacturing system within our clients American businesses unit. You should have experience with factory level network communications and be ready push the boundaries of automation and data-driven insights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive plant surveys and develop detailed design proposals to establish the scope of work for installing and integrating the manufacturing execution system.
- Determine and implement communication routes for seamless data transfer between machine and line control PLCs and the execution system.
- Collaborate with plant electrical teams to implement PLC program and hardware changes according to approved plans.
- Validate data collected from PLCs and servers, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Design and implement interfaces with instrumentation, sensors, and machine/process control systems for data capture and validation.
- Design and deploy PLC networks, leveraging expertise in programming various PLC platforms, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Omron.
- Gather feedback and analyze current system usage to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and system enhancements.
- Contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions, working autonomously and collaboratively to meet critical deadlines.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent higher-level qualification in electrical and control engineering or a closely related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in designing and commissioning control and electrical systems for machines and high-speed production lines.
- Proficiency in the design process, from specification through implementation and final validation.
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics, PLC logic, and HMI designs.
- Experience in designing and deploying SCADA, MES, or production line awareness systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with industrial sensors, instrumentation, and control is essential.
- Ability to analyze data and transform raw data into actionable business insights is a plus.
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
