Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring optimum productivity and quality.
- Develop and program automation systems, including PLCs and Fanuc Robots, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and production equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and develop control strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular system tests and inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems.
- Keep abreast of latest advancements in automation technology and implement improvements to existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controls Engineer role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in PLC programming, with specific experience in Fanuc Robots.
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and their application in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Willingness to continue learning and developing professionally in a rapidly evolving industry.
