Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Designing, programming, simulating, and testing automated machinery and processes to complete precise tasks.
2. Maintaining and improving existing control systems and managing control system upgrades.
3. Collaborating with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff to understand and apply information from technical manuals.
4. Developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Troubleshooting and repairing technical problems in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Ensuring all machinery meets or exceeds safety regulations and standards.
7. Providing training and support to team members to develop a broad understanding of systems.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends and implementing these learnings when appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with industrial automation and systems integration.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues.
5. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
6. Proficient in using design and calculation software.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise manner.
