We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Permanent Controls Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex control systems and components for our cutting-edge engineering projects. This role involves working closely with other engineers and professionals in a collaborative environment to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and productivity. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of control systems, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet project requirements and enhance system functionality.
2. Program PLCs, primarily using Allen Bradley PLC's, to ensure seamless automation of processes.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative automation systems and solutions.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and automation.
5. Maintain and upgrade existing control systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Conduct regular system tests and inspections to verify system operations and safety.
7. Develop detailed documentation for control systems design, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to the team and stakeholders on control systems and automation.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in control systems and automation.
10. Ensure all control systems adhere to established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Extensive experience with PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley PLC's.
4. Proficiency in control systems design and electrical engineering.
5. Hands-on experience with automation and web converting.
6. Strong knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Exceptional technical and analytical abilities.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
11. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
12. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
13. Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
