Responsibilities
- Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
- Develop, integrate, and continuously improve manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Provide technical oversight and collaborate with external vendors.
- Update and maintain comprehensive controls documentation.
- Support the build, runoff, and buyoff processes for equipment.
- Collect and analyze production data to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in automation/controls troubleshooting for industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong expertise in Allen Bradley control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and network configurations.
- Familiarity with Fanuc robots, Siemens Step 7, and Siemens 840D.
- Hands-on experience with servo motors, VFD drives, and motion control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cognex and Keyence vision systems.
- Background in welding controls and laser welding.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
