Controls Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Responsibilities:

• Design, modify, update, and troubleshoot control systems for automatic industrial equipment.
• Select components and design circuits and cabinet layouts.
• Generate bills of materials.
• Write PLC programs and configure servo systems.
• Troubleshoot final systems, either for new designs or modifications of existing designs.
• Adhere to electrical standards, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in programming Allen Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q, Siemens S7.
• Experience in panel layout using AutoCAD.
• Ability to design circuit and cabinet layouts.
• Familiarity with electrical standards, specifically NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
• Experience configuring servos.
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design of automated equipment or tooling design preferred, but open to recent graduates.
• Willingness to travel 10% or less.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in design of automated equipment or tooling design.
• Recent graduates with relevant coursework and internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Shift and Hours:

• Monday- Friday
• 8 AM- 5 PM

Hourly Range:

• $31.25/hr.- $43.86/hr.
