Job Title: Controls Engineer III
Location: On-Site (301 Jackson Street Columbus IN 4720)
Schedule: Full-Time, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Pay Rate: $42/h

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer III to lead industrial automation and Industry 4.0 projects, integrating advanced systems and solving complex challenges in manufacturing environments.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in industrial automation, IIoT systems, and PLC programming.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Ethernet/IP).
• Expertise in programming machine controllers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff).
• Strong troubleshooting, networking, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate and program machine controllers, robots (Cobots, IMRs, AGVs), and tools with IIoT platforms.
• Configure and secure industrial networks, including IP settings and VLANs.
• Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives and implement data analytics tools (Power BI, AI/ML).
• Troubleshoot and resolve communication issues between PLCs, machines, and IIoT systems.
• Manage IIoT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery.
