Controls Engineer (entry-level) - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is seeking an entry-level Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement controls systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement control system (logic software and hardware) to meet process, machine, and integrated system requirements.
• Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
• Develop schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software.
• Assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of system documentation.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as pharma/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, etc.
• Adheres to scope, quality, schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks
• Develops collaborative partnerships with clients and colleagues

Required:

• Exposure to PLC – Ladder Logic programming, Scada Programming
• AutoCAD experience

Preferred:

• BS Electrical, Chemical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering
• AA in Engineering with experience
• Knowledge of PLC, Scada, HMI programming, start up and commissioning

Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000
Location: Malta, NY for first 6 months of training, then Columbus, OH
