Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee new equipment electrical control systems.
- Work with the engineering team to ensure hardware, software designs, and commissioning are completed within budget.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC-based equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot HMI (Human Machine Interface) equipment.
- Assist customers and local tradespeople in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Conduct end-user training on equipment operation.
Qualifications:
- Electrical engineering degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
- Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI.
- Experience with electrical CAD systems, such as AutoCAD Electrical and/or ePLAN
- Experience in computer programming languages, such as VB, C/C++, or C#.
- Experience in design with Rockwell Logix 5000 and/or Siemens S7-1500 family processors.
- Comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time (domestic and some international)
