Job Details
I. Responsibilities:
Develop, Test, and Enhance Machine Standards: Take a lead role in the development, testing, and improvement of current machine standards to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Design and Program Automation Systems: Utilize your expertise to design and program a range of automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robots, and various electronic and electrical manufacturing equipment.
Installation and Support: Provide valuable support during the installation process, address controls-related issues, and execute wiring upgrades as necessary to maintain equipment functionality.
Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve malfunctions in manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on activities such as reducing cycle times, standardizing existing equipment, and implementing error-proofing strategies to enhance production efficiency.
II. Required Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Expertise: A fully qualified electrician or electrical engineer with in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in reading electric schematics, with hands-on experience in AutoCAD.
PLC and Drive Technology: Proven experience in PLC programming and drive technology, particularly with expertise in the Profinet bus system for production systems, ideally in automotive blanking lines.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in various software applications, including:
Windows 10
Siemens S7 Graph
WinCC Tia Professional
Siemens Simatic S7 Tia Portal
Simatic Analyzer
Siemens Sinamics S120
Siemens Step 7
LBL Software and Visualization
Robotics Expertise: Proficiency in KUKA Robots programming and troubleshooting.
