Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Controls Electrician at our manufacturing facility in Red Bluff, CA.
Responsibilities:The Controls Electrician utilizes analytical skills to examine and improve processes in order to improve productivity. Leads integration projects and works on automation equipment for optimal efficiencies. Responsibilities include the coordination of technical automated manufacturing related activities that support the Company’s strategic goals and objectives, including such activities as: automation fixture repair and maintenance, training, coaching, and implementing safety features and safety training for automation fixtures. Works closely with other departments and external parties to create and implement processes to increase the plant’s overall efficiency.
Essential Functions:
- Work with PLC-based control systems for an automated packaging line.
- Revision control process for PLC programs.
- Generate electrical drawing packages.
- Control Circuit, wiring, troubleshooting, and construction.
- Configure software to enable IIoT data collection.
- Develop simple dashboard and display using data historian software.
- Troubleshooting skills with High-Voltage systems up to 480 Volt 3-phase and 500 volts D-C.
- Troubleshooting skills with Low-Voltage control circuits.
- Test equipment operation including Digital multi-meters and Amp meters.
- Schematic reading and basic electrical symbol identification, including ability to interpret specifications.
- Electrical theory including basic OHMs law applications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalency
- Electrical certification
Experience
- 3 years of progressive and related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key deadlines.
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work independently.
