Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (negotiable based on qualifications)
Job Summary:
Join our client's team as the Controller for our Management Services Organization (MSO), providing pivotal financial leadership across our network of healthcare providers. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and driving strategic financial planning to support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including ledgers, payroll, receivables, and payables.
- Develop and present accurate monthly financial reports to executive management and ensure their understanding of key financial statements.
Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
- Direct the formulation of financial strategies and support the CEO and board members with data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Manage the budgeting process, incorporating strategic objectives of the organization while monitoring the financial performance throughout the fiscal year.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting the financial aspects of healthcare operations and ensure compliance across all functions.
- Manage financial audits, addressing and resolving findings, and refining strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Operational and Team Leadership:
- Partner with healthcare clients to refine financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and build capabilities within the finance team to achieve excellent performance and career growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masters preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in a financial leadership role within a healthcare or MSO setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, healthcare financial regulations, and complex reimbursement structures.
- Proficient in major financial software and systems, such as QuickBooks, Sage, or advanced ERP systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills; able to manage high-stress situations and complex financial scenarios.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Role may require occasional travel and interaction with diverse healthcare environments.
- Must be able to manage occasional physical tasks such as document transport and setup for presentations.
- Regular interaction with a variety of personnel, potentially under challenging conditions.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with standard office hours; additional hours may be required based on organizational needs.
