Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year
A bit about us:
As a Controller, you will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. This position is critical in providing financial leadership and coordination within the company and is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of all aspects of financial management.
Advanced knowledge of Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate (Timberline) is a definite plus.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
10. Additional controller duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller with 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
2. Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
3. CPA or CMA preferred.
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
5. Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting.
6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
7. Superior understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
8. Strong experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and financial auditing.
9. Proficient understanding of business law and corporate ethics.
10. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
11. A proven track record of leading and developing a team.
