Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk.
2. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
3. Managing and monitoring all aspects of our company's inventory, including procurement, delivery, and utilization.
4. Conducting regular reconciliations of all accounts to prevent and detect any discrepancies.
5. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
6. Managing the company's ERP system to ensure it provides the company with proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures.
7. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
8. Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
3. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
4. Proficiency in using ERP systems.
5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
6. Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software.
7. Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
