Job Description: Controller

Location: Southwest Michigan
Salary: Starting at $80,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics specific to the dealership industry.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and dealership regulations, including tax filings and audits.
• Collaborate with department managers to optimize operational efficiency and financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a car dealership setting.
• Proficiency in dealership management software (e.g., CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
