Job Opportunity for Controller with Established Institution
Responsibilities:
+ Lead accounting, budgeting, tax, audit & financial modeling
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
+ Financial reporting & analysis
+ Treasury management; monitor funds
+ Cash management, ensure compliance with investment policies
+ Cash projections/forecasting
+ M/e close
+ Prepare/review audit schedules, tax reports
+ Coordinate audits/tax return filing
+ Oversee ~4 ee's in AP, AR, Payroll and Sr. Accountant
+ Ensure staff maintain records in accordance with GAAP
+ Implement infrastructure & systems in support of organizational objectives
+ Recommend improvements to systems in place including payroll and benefits functions, oversee retirement plan & risk management for insurance programs
Requirements:
+ Prior managerial experience
+ Nonprofit industry experience highly preferred
+ Audit experience preferred
+ Excel proficiency
+ Nonprofit software platform experience a plus
+ Bachelor's degree in related field
