Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Controller who will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, developing budgets, and implementing financial controls to mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data to provide insights that will help drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Manage the company's cash flow and ensure adequate funding for day-to-day operations and long-term investments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure necessary financing.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and summarized in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage and lead a team of accounting and finance professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or finance role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Experience developing and implementing financial controls and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals.
