The Controller will oversee the accounting functions across multiple business entities, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting. This role involves supervising the accounting team, managing full-cycle accounting processes, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with a strong interest in contributing to the growth and operations of a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage accounting, billing, collections, and inventory functions.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and conduct financial analysis.
Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability based on financial reviews.
Assist management in developing strategic financial strategies based on comprehensive data analysis.
Lead month-end closing and financial reporting, including account analysis and reconciliation.
Supervise and develop accounting staff, delegating tasks to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
Analyze product costs and profitability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Industry experience in retail production preferred.
Background in distribution, product costing, and inventory systems.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
