About the Job
Controller
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Perform and develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Oversee of the annual CAM reconciliation process
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Insurance auditing and quoting for Real Estate Properties.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proven accounting experience in the real estate industry
- CPA a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with QuickBooks and AppFolio a plus
