A local HVAC company seeks a new Controller to join our team.

Job Title: Controller

Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, some weekends and overtime as needed

FLSA Status: Exempt

Pay Scale: $125,000-$135,000 Depending on experience

Primary Job Function: Responsible for accounting functions including General Ledger postings and account reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project Costing and Inventory accounting for a company with upwards of 50 employees.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer/ Owner

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in accounting and GAAP including month-end closing, account reconciliations and analysis, A/R, billing and A/P.
• Experience in a manufacturing and service environment, including understanding of project costing and work in process inventory
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Self-starter with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy
• Ability and knowledge to manage property leasing agreements
• Knowledge and experience working with Contracts and Leases
• Strong Background with Information Technology (IT)
• Ability to manage company fleet
• Service Titan Experience highly preferred
• Strong work ethics and a team player, ability to work under pressure
• Advanced Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks and/or other accounting software experience
• Must complete pre-hire requirements per Company Policy
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Desired Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
