As the Controller, you will oversee all financial aspects of Woodstone Earth Construction, ensuring the company remains on solid financial footing while supporting strategic growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash management.
- Oversee and direct financial planning, risk management, and accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish company-wide financial strategies that align with Woodstone’s goals.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support business objectives.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure the company has the necessary liquidity to fund operations and growth.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to optimize profits, minimize expenses, and improve financial efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and controls to safeguard company assets.
- Proven experience as a financial controller, or in a senior financial management role, ideally in construction or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and accounting systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior management and provide insightful financial guidance.
- Exceptional understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within financial data.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and actionable manner to all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a financial team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor
