About the Organization- Controller

• CFS New York is working a top-tier Venture Capital firm with a varied client portfolio that includes SaaS based and Media companies
• They are seeking a highly motivated Controller to manage all day-to-day financial operations
• This position will be reporting directly into the CEO and is responsible for overseeing a team of two
• This is a hybrid position located in Midtown Manhattan and is located near many train lines

Role Responsibilities- Controller

• Oversee and manage the accounting and financial departments (AP, AR, Payroll and some tax filing)
• Develop and implement efficient processes for both distributing and receiving funds
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting
• oversee the budgeting and forecasting process
• Work hand in hand with external accountants to manage the accounting and tax process

Preferred Qualifications- Controller

• BA in Accounting, Finance or Related field
• MBA or CPA is highly preferred
• Professional services experience preferred
• Hands on accounting experience; day to day and strategic
• 5+ years of experience with 2+ years in a managerial position
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus!
