Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and treasury.
- Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Implementing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinating with external auditors for the annual audit process, providing all necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborating with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
- Overseeing the financial aspects of manufacturing operations, including cost accounting and inventory management.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, with significant experience in financial reporting and manufacturing.
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting standards, and manufacturing cost accounting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound financial decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
