As a Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in providing accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop annual operating budgets in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis.
- Prepare forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds for operations.
- Monitor banking activities and reconcile bank statements.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and reviews.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor finance team members.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
