Controller - Robert Half

Description We are looking for a Controller to join our machinery manufacturing team in Marysville, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. You will also be expected to utilize your knowledge of ERP and inventory accounting to ensure the financial stability and growth of our organization. Responsibilities: - Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, estimate costs, and assist in making informed decisions - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and profit and loss reports - Manage the month-end close process and ensure all financial deadlines are met - Conduct cash flow analysis and variance analysis to identify areas of improvement - Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard the company's assets - Manage the company's ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system - Utilize your knowledge of the manufacturing industry to make strategic financial decisions - Perform inventory accounting duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards - Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and procedures. The salary range for this position is $87,000 to $135,000. Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Life and AD& D STD/LTD 401k 144 hours PTO 10 paid holidays Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning - Extensive experience in the Manufacturing Industry - Proficiency in Budgeting and Forecasting - Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Month End Close - Strong skills in Financial Analysis and Financial Statement preparation - Experience in Profit and Loss statements - Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis and Variance Analysis - Experience in implementing and maintaining Internal Controls - Proficiency in Inventory Accounting - Strong communication and leadership skills - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field - CPA or CMA certification would be advantageous - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
