Position Overview

Our client, an established manufacturing company set to double its revenue as it integrates with a larger organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of accounting and compliance and will involve guiding the transition to the Infor CloudSuite ERP. The Controller will oversee general accounting functions, compliance, financial reporting, and inventory controls, as well as work closely with management on reporting and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• General Accounting: Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, policy development, compliance, and inventory controls/costing.
• ERP Transition: Lead the transition to Infor CloudSuite ERP, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
• Financial Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings, including reporting on actuals, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and present monthly analysis and reporting packages for PE staff.
• Compliance and Reconciliation: Process journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and manage cash reconciliation.
• Payroll and Tax Compliance: Handle payroll via ADP and ensure tax compliance using Avalara.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to optimize financial performance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ERP Implementation: Proven experience in ERP implementation; familiarity with Infor CSI ERP is a plus.
• GAAP Knowledge: Proficient in GAAP with a strong understanding of inventory costing.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Location: Preference for on-site work, with hybrid options considered for the right candidate.
