Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the company including accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analyses.
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial reports, including annual audits and quarterly reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
- Manage relationships with investors, manage fund audits, and prepare investor reports.
- Evaluate and manage risk, perform due diligence, and oversee financial and operational controls.
- Collaborate with the executive team to provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes, ensuring the company's financial operations remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
- Must have M&A and Healthcare experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the private equity sector.
- In-depth knowledge of private equity, finance, and accounting principles, including GAAP.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases, and advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its financial regulations is a plus.
