This role is integral to the financial health and growth of our organization, and we are looking for someone who is ready to take on the challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the business, including budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement budget plans.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and government reports.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Develop and implement internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Train and mentor finance team members to ensure a high level of competency and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- Extensive experience in manufacturing finance is .
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
