Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Oversee and manage the financial close process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external audit teams, fulfilling audit requests, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.
Lead and manage the processes for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and inventory management.
Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll reporting and coding.
Manage the tracking and administration of incentive compensation programs.
Oversee capital deployment, including reporting, reconciliation, and tracking.
Lead the cycle count program and physical inventory processes.
Maintain and enforce compliance with the Levels of Authority document.
Authorize ACH and wire payments as part of cash management.
Align financial processes across global operations.
Monitor established financial procedures and identify areas for improvement.
Lead or participate in special projects and assignments as required.
Leadership and Communication
Collaborate across the organization to influence business outcomes positively.
Communicate effectively with leaders across various functions.
Manage and develop finance and accounting staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, mentoring, and addressing employee concerns.
Foster a culture focused on performance and results.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Master’s in Accounting are preferred.
CPA certification is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial market setting is preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise messages.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management, from planning to execution.
Demonstrated ability to provide insights and influence decision-making at the executive level.
Proficient in using accounting software, ERP systems, and common office software.
