Job Details
Responsibilities:
Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets, as well as actual expenditures.
Manage aspects of employee insurance, benefits, and casualty programs, including monitoring changes in health insurance regulations and creating budgets for benefits and workers’ compensation.
Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis, in coordination with the CFO.
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all business segments.
Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
Provide oversight and support to the accounting team, fostering an environment of trust and productivity through dynamic leadership.
Required skills and qualifications:
Seven or more years of professional accounting experience.
Understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in managing payroll, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes.
Exemplary history of financial project management.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or a related field.
Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager.
Professional certification, such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).
